Pitcher Partners Newcastle & Hunter is part of the National Pitcher Partners network. We provide outsourced management accounting services to a range of hospitality clients and due to growth are seeking a Management Accountant to join our team to provide these services to around 12 key clients.
About you:
You love preparing financial reports and analysing results.
You have strong accounting skills and have experience in preparing management financial statements. Ideally you will have:
• Experience using Xero and MYOB as well as strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to form solid working relationships
About the role:
You will have autonomy to manage your workload and client priorities with as much flexibility as you require.
You will be operationally strong with excellent analytical skills to deliver effective outcomes. Some of the key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
• Preparation of quarterly and monthly financial reports for hospitality clients, including reconciliation of all major balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of Board reports, including review and analysis of the results and key financial metrics and comparison to budget
• Provide general accounting support and completion of various statutory obligations as required.
This is not your typical professional services role (ie no timesheets!). The role requires some work to be performed at client premises, with flexibility to work from home or office at other times.
