Your new role


Due to growth, we have an opportunities for full-time Business Advisory/Taxation Accountants and Senior Accountants, ideally with at least 2-4 years public practice work experience to work in our Newcastle or Maitland offices. In this role you will:


  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for individual, company and trust clients.
  • Assist, train and supervise junior team members
  • Review client data files and liaise with clients
  • Prepare special purpose financial statements
  • Prepare periodic management accounts for key stakeholders
  • Conduct tax research and prepare taxation advice
  • Positively contribute to the culture of the firm and work with the team toward goals


About you


To be successful in this role, your communications skills, integrity and trust will be paramount, coupled with your focus and commitment to clients. You will have:


  • Completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) and have either commenced or intend to commence the CA program.
  • Exemplary business services accounting skills with exposure to tax & advisory services
  • Display a curious mindset to assist with problem solving
  • Able to draft technical letters and reports
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong desire to learn and grow skills
