Your new role

Due to growth, we have an opportunity for full-time Business Advisory Accountant in our Newcastle office (or our Maitland office), ideally with at least 3 years public practice work experience.

In this role you will: 

  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for individual, company and trust clients.
  • Assist with bookkeeping and payroll tasks for a variety of clients
  • Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients
  • Assist junior staff where required

About you

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following attributes:   

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a public practice environment (business services/taxation)
  • Completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) and have either commenced or intend to commence the CA program.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team where required.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow your skills to the next level, along with a high level of curiosity.
  • A strong sense of engagement with our core values (noted below).
