DFK ANZ recently completed a survey in May 2020 on the impacts of COVID-19 businesses.

The key findings of the DFK ANZ 2020 COVID-19 survey provide a snapshot of the impacts and future focus of business owners across Australia and New Zealand. Some of the interesting key findings include:

• While most businesses had a loss in revenue when the pandemic hit 11.4% had no impact and 7.2% had an increased revenue.
• Over half of those surveyed were prepared for working remotely as they either had tech in place or already had working from home occurring.
• New technologies were embraced over this time, with Zoom being the most popular tool at the top of the list. This has also changed the ways businesses think with many pleased with the flexibility the new tools have offered.
• Of those surveyed in the recent DFK ANZ COVID-19 survey, nearly half were relying on JobKeeper to keep their employees. They also adopted other solutions including upskilling and changing roles
